I picked up these cards believing they would be a good introduction to geography in our homeschool curriculum as we focused on one geographical region per week while centering our geography lessons on the Lord by introducing missionaries, church history, and cultures and peoples we could pray for the Gospel to reach. I was pleasantly surprised the cards did more than just provide basic facts, but also quotes from each missionary to discuss and a card specifically for each geographic region with ideas of how to encourage children and families to apply what was read about each geographical region to become more mission-minded in their everyday, ordinary lives as they seek to love and honor God, becoming more like Christ. I plan to purchase more of these cards as birthday gifts for friends in the coming year, especially for my child’s friends I know love learning about different places or cultures! The only thing missing in these cards is that I wish there were more missionary cards; there are missionaries I expected to be in the cards who were not provided, such as Amy Carmichael. Perhaps an expansion pack of cards could be created in the future? Otherwise, I might use the cards in future years of homeschooling for research projects in researching and creating our own cards for missionaries my child decides to want to read or learn more about in the coming years. Thank you for this card pack that will be used by us for many years to help our child develop a love for others in Christ through sharing the abundant, everlasting joy of the Gospel message!
We love their ABC materials, work books, and especially the podcast! Tiny theologians is an amazing gospel centered addition to our routine with raising our children
We've been looking for a missions curriculum and this one fits our needs perfectly! The kids LOVE the coloring sheet!
This is such a special resource. I’m a teacher and will be using this to help students learn about different missionaries, and to learn how to grow in our own missions for the Kingdom.
As I write this review, my 2.5 y/o, 4y/o and 6y/o are all coloring on this together! We are halfway through the cards, and so far we've been able to have some great conversations about missions and sharing the Gospel with others! It's a great resource for those younger kiddos.. the visual part of the map and stickers is fantastic!
