Making church history simple and accessible

We love these cards! We keep them at the kitchen table and go through one every night. I wish I would have had them when I was a kid. I am learning a lot along my children. It’s so important to have a basic knowledge of Church history. Thank you, Tiny Theologians!

Where’s the history?

There are two church fathers in this entire deck. The rest of the deck is—without exaggeration—abolitionists. Most of the cards aren’t even theologians or pastors—they’re just random Christians who played some role in abolition. And Elizabeth Elliot? How about Edward the Confessor? Jonathan Edwards? Eusebius? Elizabeth I?

I’m honestly speechless that a card deck on “church history” contains 2 fathers and a bunch of anti-slavery advocates. It’s bizarre and signals ulterior motives and agendas.
