FAQ

When will my order ship? 3-5 business days. All orders are shipped USPS First Class or Priority Shipping

How should I store them? Each order (not each product within each order) comes with one complimentary Tiny Theologians storage bag; which means, if you are not able to get the storage bag with the family tree artwork on it, you will still receive a Tiny Theologians bag to store your cards in (one per order, not per product). Additional bags can be purchased here

What size are the cards? They are 4.5" by 4.5"

What kind of paper are they printed on? They are printed on 120# card stock with a matte laminate finish.

What translation do you use for the Scripture references on these cards? We primarily use 2011 ESV.

How does the puzzle work? The cards work from day 1 to day 25, and the back of each card creates the "puzzle." Encourage your child to shuffle all the cards and assemble the puzzle each day after you read your card! Use the puzzle guide card to help your kids understand the orientation of each piece of the puzzle.

Theologically accurate and kid-approved resources

Out of all of the kids resources that I’ve ever used for teaching my children the deep truths of Scripture, Tiny Theologians has the most doctrinally accurate, and yet simple to understand for kids, resources that I’ve ever come across. I have most of their resources, and will continue to buy them!

Can’t wait to use these!

Our family has ordered many items from Tiny Theologians and we’ve loved everything, so of course I already love the Family Tree of Christ Advent Cards. My husband and I were looking through them when we received them and even he said he can’t wait to use them in December!

Lovely but not matching

I was so excited to receive these and they are beautiful cards. However, I was under the impression that each picture would correspond to the scripture/topic on the back. Instead, the content about Rahab is on the back of King David’s picture etc. etc. As well, there are pictures of only 12 members of Christ’s family - the rest are fillers for the tree (although with great scripture references/chronological story still). So, I think they will be a good resource but I am bit disappointed as I felt the product was inaccurately described.

We loved it! Just one thing...

We purchased this advent for the 2020 season. My kids loved it! Every day they were excited to read more and put the "puzzle" together. I didn't mind the roman numerals as we just used it as an extra learning tool. The only disappointment (2 of them) are that on days 19 and 20 the scripture reference is wrong. Both days read 1 Samuel and SHOULD read 2 Samuel. Again, we used this time as a learning tool and I had my kids look up the references and read them from the Bible itself...this is how the errors were discovered. Overall I recommend this advent! We enjoyed reading and learning about the "uncommon" people and ways that God brought us the Savior, Jesus!

Why parents choose us

solid theology made simple.

We're just a couple of seminary grads who wanted to have the best, most theologically-rich content available to the kids in our church and in our family. So we set out to create them. Our promise to you is this: we never water-down theological concepts, never over-simplify God, and we keep the Gospel at the center of it all.

These cards said everything I wanted to say to my kids about God but couldn't articulate myself. To say that they changed our family would be an understatement.

I ordered these cards thinking they would be a cute addition to our church nursery, but MAN! They pack a theological punch! As a children's pastor, I purchased a set for every family in our church.
