- A Scripture reference related to that virtue so that your child sees how it is rooted in God's Word
- A training refrain to help them remember that God is the one who helps them grow in godliness (example: "God helps me be patient!")
- A brief, kid-friendly explanation of what it means to display that virtue
- A prayer prompt that invites children to go to God for the help they need
